Can you color the wood?
Can you color the wood?
Yes absolutely!
Adding color can be a wonderful part of introducing and personalizing our wisewoodz products and many of our little customers have already done this.
1. Only use high-quality felt-tip pens or felt-tip pens (like Faber Castell or Stabilo)
2. Stay within the engraving lines or the paint will bleed into the wood or color entire steps.
3. If you color the product, it cannot be returned.

Why FSC certified plywood?
Why FSC certified plywood?
Plywood production involves joining thin layers of wood together with a strong adhesive. Although this glue is necessary to ensure the durability and strength of the final product, we carefully select adhesives that meet strict EU regulations for low formaldehyde emissions, minimizing potential health risks.
When it comes to disposal, it is important to proceed responsibly. Burning plywood, even though it may seem like an easy option at first glance, should be avoided. Despite the low formaldehyde content, burning the glued layers of wood can release harmful compounds into the air that can pose health and environmental risks. In many places, burning treated wood such as plywood violates waste disposal regulations.
There are more environmentally friendly alternatives you can consider once you are finished with your plywood product. If it's still usable, you can donate it to local schools, community centers, or nonprofit organizations to provide them with valuable materials for building or craft projects.
If disposal is necessary, contact your local waste disposal facility. They can advise you on the most appropriate disposal methods for your area to ensure that treated wood such as birch/beech and pine plywood is handled safely and legally. In many cases, recycling or composting is the most environmentally friendly solution, although specific facilities and policies for wood recycling and composting may vary from region to region.
